Operational Structure of SSD
SSD’s Geographical Outreach
SSD has been heavily engaged in most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, AJK and in select districts of Balochistan.
SSD’s Governing Body
SSD has a governing body called the Board of Governors comprising seven members. The Board meets twice a year to review plans and set organizational priorities for the upcoming six months.
SSD’s Management
SSD maintains a strong management structure in Pakistan with field offices in key locations. The Executive Director oversees operations with support from the Manager Admin and Manager Finance, following a standard HR policy for recruitment and staff management.
SSD’s Financial Management
SSD operates a transparent and robust financial management system backed by strict standard operating procedures. Internal and external audits confirm compliance, donor reports are submitted on time, and financial records remain up to date. A computerized accounting system governs all transactions, while procurement and logistics follow established procedures aligned with donor guidelines, particularly those of UNICEF.
Offices & Infrastructure
The head office is situated in Peshawar with five regional offices in Dir, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Battagram, and Muzaffarabad to deliver development and emergency response initiatives effectively.
