Providing clean water

Many people in Asia and Africa don’t have access to clean running water, this leads to the spreading of disases and illnesses. This can be prevented by making it easier to access clean water by providing a water pump in isolated places. One water pump benefits many families within the local area without having to carry water from long distance, muddy or dirty water. More than 50 or 20+ families people will benefit from each water well. The wells last for about 10 to 20 years.

Hazrat Ali Hifz Class

There is a significant need for a department dedicated to the memorisation of the Quran in the region. A long demanding hifz class has been established in a remote area of Shigar in Northern Pakistan where the teacher travels to take the class for 20+ poor children boys and girls. Funds are used to cover teacher salary which is £60 per month.

Marriage

Many poor girls can not get married specaily when they are orphan. Funds are used to solemnise and conduct the marriage. Cost can vary between £150 to £500 depending on location (Bangladesh/Pakistan/India).

Medical Dispensary

Established in 2016, the dispensary has treated over 11,000 patients, but there is a continued need for medicines. Free medicine is provided to the poor and needy specially in a remote area of Shigar in Northern Pakistan. Funds are used to buy medicines and store. Donations can be any amount from £10.

Masjid

Land has been acquired to bulld a masjid where no masjid is in its vicinity - Shigar, Pakistan.

Empowering women/Self sustaining

Poor families are provided with sewing machines or animals which they use to generate income for their household. The cost is £50 for a sewing machine and £100 for an animal.

Other Projects (non sadaqah jaariyah)

Qurbani Program: During Eid al-Adha, meat are distributed among poor and needy families who can not afford to eat meat.Clothing Program: Winter clothes such as warm jackets, blankets, and other essential items are provided to deserving families.
